On April 8, 2005, Archbishop Terrence Prendergast, Pontifical Commissioner for the Sons of Mary, handed a three-page document to the Sons of Mary in which he commented upon “four statements published in ‘Le Royaume’ ” under the signature of Marc Bosquart. This document was taken from the Pastoral Message regarding the Sons of Mary and the Army of Mary which His Excellency Paul-André Durocher, Bishop of Alexandria-Cornwall, had prepared for his diocesan faithful.
On May 13, 2005, Archbishop Prendergast wrote to Marc Bosquart. Among other things, his letter took up the points found in the text he had given the Sons of Mary, except that this time the text was addressed directly to the author.
