On August 15, 2006, Archbishop Prendergast wrote to the newlyweds as well as to their parents. We are reproducing here these letters (the letter addressed to Marie and Alain Têtu is similar to the one addressed to Guylaine and Roger Michaud). They will be followed by a commentary from Father Eric Roy in which he sets out the reasons that led to the celebration of this first marriage at Spiri-Maria.
