– “No to death! No to war! Yes to Life! Yes to Peace!”
Pope John Paul II, January 13, 2003

– “The Holy See is not ‘pacifist’ but rather ‘peace-making.’ The Holy See is not pacifist at all cost, as it admits legitimate defence on the part of the United States.” Cardinal Sodano to the daily Avvenire

– “What should be said, rather, is that the Holy See is always peace-making, as it works intensely to prevent the outbreak of conflicts,” the Cardinal went on to say. (Zenit, February 18, 2003)

– “Never one against the other!” said the Pope as he asked the world to pray and fast for peace on Ash Wednesday. (February 28, 2003)

And His Holiness proposed the means for achieving peace:

– “Purify the conscience and convert the heart to true peace.” (March 9, 2003)

– “No more war!” the Pope said to the young people, while denying that he was a “pacifist”, as the Holy See has emphasized many times in recent weeks. “We must do everything possible!” We know well that peace is not possible at any cost. But we all know how great this responsibility is – therefore, prayer and penance!” (Zenit, March 16, 2003)

– At the Vatican, on February 14, the Pope received in audience the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Tarek Aziz.

– On Saturday, February 15, His Em. Cardinal Etchegaray, the Holy Father’s special envoy, met with President Saddam Hussein for the purpose of asking “Iraq to respect the United Nations’ resolutions concerning Iraq’s urgent disarmament, otherwise the threat of a war hung over the world.”

– On February 18, the Secretary General to the United Nations, Mr. Kofi Annan, was, in turn, received in audience by the Holy Father.

– On February 22, the Pope urged the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Mr. Tony Blair, “to dispel the specter of war in the Middle East”.

– Then again, on Wednesday, March 5, 2003, His Em. Cardinal Laghi, the Pope’s special envoy, had a meeting with the President of the United States, Mr. George W. Bush, and his collaborators.

– While the Pope was putting all his influence to work in the service of peace, the world was awaiting, in keeping with the UN Security Council’s resolution 1441, the reply from the President in Baghdad who was being called upon to begin rapidly, after twelve years of tergiversation and delaying, the destruction of banned missiles with a capacity for mass destruction, as was asked for by the chief inspector of the UN disarmament team, Mr. Hans Blix.

At the same time, a debate was going on in the UN over a resolution that could open the way to war.

Meanwhile, France, Germany and Russia were strongly opposing a war in Iraq, and all over the world the peoples were undertaking peace marches.

On March 18, the highest Iraqi government authorities rejected the ultimatum issued by George W. Bush to Saddam Hussein, and the American troops in the Middle East prepared for battle.

The ultimatum of 48 hours set by the American President met with Saddam Hussein’s refusal to opt for exile as was demanded of him, this refusal being expressed by the President of the Iraqi Parliament, Soodoun Hammadi.

On March 19, towards 10:15 p.m. (local time, hence March 20, at about 6:15 a.m. Baghdad time), George W. Bush delivered a televised message announcing the beginning of hostilities. Less than two hours later, the United States and Great Britain launched, during the night, a series of raids against Baghdad, the Iraqi capital.

On Thursday, March 20, the Vatican learned, with deep pain, of the evolution of the latest events in Iraq. “On the one hand,” said Mr. Joaquin Navarro-Valls, “it is to be regretted that the Iraqi government did not accept the resolutions of the United Nations and the appeal of the Pope himself, as both asked that the country disarm.”

“On the other hand,” Mr. Navarro-Valls went on to say, “it is to be deplored that the path of negotiations, according to international law, for a peaceful solution to the Iraqi drama has been interrupted.”

In this Year of the Rosary, Pope John Paul II has asked again for “prayer and penance, conversion of the heart, etc.,” terms so dear to Pope Paul VI who explained what must be “the most necessary interior reform and the most difficult: to change one’s thoughts, one’s tastes, according to the will of God; to correct one’s faults, to search for a continual interior uprightness of feelings and resolutions; to let oneself be guided by the love of God and the love of neighbour; to listen to the word of the Lord, the voice of the Holy Spirit; to nourish that ‘sense of the Church’ that makes it easy for us to understand how much of the divine and how much of the human is in it, and to follow Christ.” (General Audience, August 7, 1968)

Though we have mentioned the principal events preceding the war, what preoccupies us is not the description of how it unfolded on land and in the air, or the accusing of anyone whomsoever. Is there not a divine Power above us that watches over the world in peril?

The Bible tells of God’s interventions over the centuries, one of which was the “passage through the Red Sea on dry ground” in order to save the children of Israel, at the expense of Pharaoh and his entire army that was swallowed up by the sea. And the Israelites had faith in God and in Moses, His servant (cf. Ex 14:5-31).

Now, who wants war? No one, and yet, in certain circumstances, even Heaven intervenes to this effect. There are so many other examples of this recounted in the Bible, such as the reading from the second book of Chronicles, on Sunday, March 30:

“Under the reign of Zedekiah all the leading priests and the people were exceedingly unfaithful, following all the abominations of the nations; and they polluted the house of the Lord that he had consecrated in Jerusalem.

“The Lord, the God of their ancestors, persistently sent his messengers to them, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place; but they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words, and scoffing at his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord against his people became so great that there was no remedy.

The deportation to Babylon.

King Cyrus returning the sacred vessels
to the temple of God.

“Therefore the Lord brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who burned the house of God, broke down the wall of Jerusalem, burned all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all its precious vessels. The king took into exile in Babylon those who had escaped from the sword, and they became servants to him and to his sons until the establishment of the kingdom of Persia, to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had made up for its sabbaths. All the days that it lay desolate it kept sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

“In the first year of King Cyrus of Persia, in fulfilment of the word of the Lord spoken to Jeremiah, the Lord stirred up the spirit of King Cyrus of Persia so that he sent a herald throughout all his kingdom and also declared in a written edict: ‘Thus says King Cyrus of Persia: the Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever is among you of all his people, may the Lord his God be with him! Let him go up!’ ” (Cf. 2 Chr 36:14-23.)

Judith at the Banquet of Holofernes

On seeing Judith, the heart of Holofernes was in rapture over her and his spirit shaken. He was burning with the desire to possess her, for he had been wanting to seduce her from the day he saw her. He invited her to his banquet, made her sit down in front of him and said to her, “Drink and be merry with us!” She drank a little, but Holofernes drank so much that, once alone with her, he collapsed, sodden, on his bed. When everyone had gone out, Judith besought the Lord, “Make me strong today!”, in order to save her people. (Cf. Jdt 10-16.)

– What are we to think of Judith who, in the name of God, cut off Holofernes’ head in order to save her enslaved people? These latter did not have to engage in battle with their enemies who, because of the death of Holofernes, became terror-stricken and fled the territory of Israel. The Israelites had only to pursue and cut them down. And so God saved His people.

– The history of France also reminds us that a certain Joan of Arc, 18 years old, obedient to voices from Heaven, was able to convince King Charles VII of the authenticity of her mission, asking him to give her a small armed force with which to deliver France being ravaged by the English invasion. At the head of her army she overcame the English and had her king crowned in Reims in 1429. Then, on May 23, 1430, she fell into the hands of the Bourguignons who sold her to the English. She was judged by an ecclesiastical tribunal presided over by the bishop of Beauvais, Bishop Pierre Cauchon. Declared a heretic, she was burned alive on May 31, 1431, in Rouen. Solemnly rehabilitated in 1456, she was beatified in 1909 and canonized in 1920.

It should be noted that prayer was always uppermost in the hearts of those who believed in the mission of the servants.

If, “in this time which is our time”, all the people who actively participated in demonstrations for peace had turned to God with the firm purpose of changing their lives, the wishes of the Holy Father would have been fulfilled, because confident and suppliant prayer for a better world ascends directly to heaven. The recitation of the rosary would have opened the floodgates of love, and God, a good and merciful Father, would have granted graces and blessings destined for the unity of peoples.

But God writes in a straight line through events, in spite of the twistings and turnings made by men. He writes straight, even when He is piercing the structures established by men, doing so to choose the man of His choice, the one firmly attached to His Word, or to pick the little ones whom He sends as His messengers to the great ones, some of whom would have forgotten God their Father. And thus it was that, in His Wisdom, He chose the little David or the humble 18-year-old Joan of Arc in order, with the authority coming from the Holy Spirit, to confound the great ones who sought to write history without Him.

Mary, upon whom these times have devolved, foretold in detail, between 1945 and 1959, what was to come, thus completing the message she had been giving to the world for more than a century for our Evil Times. Have we responded to her requests? NO! The calamities and wars are irrefutable proof of that.

At Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Mary, who wishes to be known in these present times as the Lady of All Peoples, spoke to Ida Peerdeman, Her messenger, who repeated Her words to her director.

“Hard battles will be fought about and near Jerusalem.

“The world will be as though torn in two.

“There will be much misfortune, much misery.” (14th apparition, December 26, 1947)

“They are searching for peace, but they will not find it.” (16th apparition, May 7, 1949)

“In France, things are going very badly! France! You have fallen very low, militarily, economically, spiritually! Where, at this time, are your glory and your pride?” France is spotted throughout by numerous red stains and the seeress hears the voice: “And yet so little would be needed to lead these men to conversion.” She goes on to explain:

“Europe is divided in two.” (25th apparition, December 10, 1950)

“Nowhere is there unity; nowhere is there peace; nowhere is there tranquillity for the peoples; only anguish and tension everywhere.” (42nd apparition, June 15, 1952)

“I have said: ‘Disasters, catastrophes of nature will come.’

“I have said: ‘The great ones will not succeed in agreeing amongst themselves.’

“I have said: ‘The world is becoming corrupt. It is because of this that the Father and the Son now “sends”, once again, the Lady into the world. The Lady such as she was when she was known as Mary.’

“The world is becoming corrupt; the world is corrupt....

“Rome, have you any idea how everything is undermined? Years will pass, years will pass in such a state; and the more years there will be, the less faith will there be; and the more years there will be, the more apostasy will there be.” (Raoul Auclair, The Lady of All Peoples, 35th apparition, August 15, 1951).

On this April 8, 2003, at the time I am writing these lines, I have been given an article from the daily Le Soleil, written by François Cardinal, following a conference given in Montreal by Elie Wiesel, recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, who declared that he was in favor of the war. Elie Wiesel, “a survivor of the Nazi concentration camps”, supports the intervention led by President George W. Bush. Following are some excerpts from François Cardinal’s article:

“Against war by reason of principle, Elie Wiesel would have very much liked to have opposed the second Gulf War. But nevertheless, the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize is wholeheartedly on the side of the American intervention, being of the opinion that Saddam Hussein must, at any cost, leave Iraq before his murderous hand is once again turned against his own people.

“ ‘Unfortunately, it is a necessary intervention,’ he said yesterday outside a conference he gave in Montreal. ‘Even if the whole world were to say no, I cannot, in my soul and conscience, see any other solution....’

“ ‘I’m against war,’ he declared straight off. ‘I have lived through war, I know what war is, but I always side with the victims. And I can’t forget that in the 80s Saddam Hussein killed a million human beings. Then there was Kuwait, and then what happened to the Kurds... At that time nobody protested....’

“He believes that, in having unsuccessfully tried to work through the United Nations, the Americans found themselves in an impasse that, today, justifies the use of arms... in order to disarm the ‘murderer’ Saddam Hussein.

“ ‘But if certain European countries had exerted as much pressure on Saddam Hussein as they did on George Bush,’ he added with some vexation, ‘there certainly wouldn’t have been war.’

“At this stage, the ideal, for him, would be the arrest of the Iraqi leader, his detention and then his condemnation by an international penal court. But if Hussein were to take the initiative and go into voluntary exile, Mr. Wiesel would be completely satisfied, for that would mean the sparing of human lives.

“The writer indicated that the war presently raging on Iraqi soil would, moreover, constitute a major turning point for the world. And a positive turning point, he added in the same breath, referring to relations between States, and more particularly to the relations between the Israelis and the Palestinians.” (Le Soleil, April 7, 2003, p. A6)

Have we perceived the maternal initiatives of the Lady of All Peoples in this tragic and confused time of the war in Iraq...?

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father
send now your Spirit
over the earth.

Let the Holy Spirit live
in the hearts of all peoples,
that they may be preserved
from corruption,
disaster and war.
May the Lady of All Peoples,
who once was Mary,
be our Advocate. Amen.

† H. Em. Cardinal Albert Decourtray, Archbishop of Lyon and Primate of the Gaules
March 25, 1994

Mary has made all preparations to save the peoples of the earth and she is present and active. Active...? Yes! In making use of human beings open to her action. And the men and women whom she calls are the prey to universal fury and hatred.

In this time that is troubled and so confused, Mary, the Lady of All Peoples is present and she signs her action with the Number that is hers. And that Number is 5, just as the Number 3 is that of God in three Persons. Saint Augustine and Léon Bloy have written about the symbolism of Numbers, the meaning of which we of the Catholic Church have lost over the course of time:

“Long ago in other times, it was known that the abstract concept of Number should not be confused with the concept of Quantity. It was not permitted, even to children, to be ignorant of the fact that Quantity is the material body, the inferior tendency of the Number, and that its superior tendency, its spirit, its share of light, is Quality...” (Léon Bloy, Journal, volume V, May 19, 1910)

Saint Augustine himself, in his Cité de Dieu [City of God], alludes to evidence of the same order when he writes that “the lack of understanding of Numbers prevents the understanding of many of the figurative and mystical passages of Scripture.” (Book XI; cf. also Book XV)

Not only is there a Number corresponding to Jesus and Mary and expressing their mystery, but Saint John reveals to us in his Apocalypse the number of the ape of God.

“The false prophet as the slave of the Beast

“Then I saw a second beast; it emerged from the ground; it had two horns like a lamb, but made a noise like a dragon. [Saint John goes on to describe the action of the Beast, and terminates thus:]

“He compelled everyone – small and great, rich and poor, slave and citizen – to be branded on the right hand or the forehead, and made it illegal for anyone to buy or sell anything unless he had been branded with the name of the Beast or with the number of his name.

“There is need for shrewdness here: if anyone is clever enough he may interpret the number of the Beast: it is the number of a man, the number 666.” (Apoc 13:11,16-18)

Can the prophets God has chosen remain silent? Their duty is to transmit the divine, Marian or angelic message in human words. It is by means of the voice of prophets that the Book of God, “the Bible”, was written. Only the Church has the power to accept or to refuse the meaning of this inspired language from the Most High.

In our day, how many theologians and scientists combat or reject these Sacred Books, sowing doubt about or denying what was and still remains a reality, that is, Truth, which was transmitted by the very ones who lived at the time of the Savior, who saw and who believed. They are the Evangelists Matthew, Mark, Luke and John who, along with the Redeemer who had been announced thousands of years earlier, sacrificed their lives for this cause. Fortunately, to combat or deny them is not sufficient to make the truths of God disappear.

The Apocalypse of Saint John is opening in our millennium. And we are seeing the voices of mystery being subjected to the same derisory affronts as those that were described in the biblical accounts, but in a much more refined manner because it is by means of words that they are being attacked. Should we be surprised at this? The wisdom of God is foolishness to men because this arduous advance takes place amid the darkness of the times. It is precisely in order to draw the world out of this darkness that God intervenes in this time through Mary, the Woman of the Apocalypse. The Lady is with us, at work, in this titanic Combat of the End, when the world is headed for its ruin. Men have turned away from God, counting on the “infiniteness” of their power, to such an extent that virtue disappears ever more and more and evil establishes itself as the master in all sectors of society. Could this be denied? “Political, civil, and religious scandals will erupt. Heads will fall and blood will flow.” That is what Mary had foretold me in 1958 because Cardinal Léger had refused her requests transmitted to him by a Father Oblate of Mary Immaculate (Life of Love I, chap. 51, p. 322).

The volumes of Life of Love recount hundreds of facts which prove the Marian action, mysterious and yet so very palpable before our eyes. Day after day, Mary warns us, guides us and she prepares everything. We need only obey her in pure faith.

Mary always leaves her signature on her action in order to reassure us or to sustain us when men destroy her plans of love. This was also the case when the Lord reassured me regarding His action, when an assault was launched upon the Army of Mary by religious authorities in Quebec and in Rome, an assault that ended in the judgment of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura at the Vatican which had met, on April 20, 1991, to study the Army of Mary’s recourse. Once again, the Work was judged on the basis of calumnies and the Plenary refused to allow the recourse to be discussed, alleging that it lacked a basis. The Definitive Decree of the Supreme Tribunal, dated May 15, 1991, was made known to the Army of Mary on the following May 17. The Lord had warned me in 1951 when He foretold the future: “IT WILL ALL TERMINATE IN COURT.” And yet, at that time, I had never even heard of the Army of Mary.

On the morning of April 30, 1991, in the chapel, I “heard”:

“After Mass, I at once went to chapter 53 of volume I of Life of Love, in order to have the exact date of this announcement: it was April 28, 1958. I then asked Sister Chantal to calculate on her computer the exact number of days between April 28, 1958, and April 20, 1991, the day the Church pronounced, through the Plenary, its verdict against the Army of Mary.

“ ‘12,045 days, leap years included,’ Sister Chantal told me within a few minutes.

“I immediately divided 12,045 days by 365 days which gave me 33 years to the day.

“Redemption: 33 years; Co-Redemption: 33 years.”

That is how Jesus reassures His servants or handmaids. And Mary, in her Hour as the Woman of the Apocalypse, is also able to provide support for those who belong to her, and this in an unexpected way.

Here are a few excerpts from talks given by Mother Paul-Marie, written up by Sr. France Bergeron.

World Events Marked by the Seal of the Lady: 555

“Over the past few months, no one remained indifferent to the prospect of a war between the United States and Iraq. Many were prudent in their judgments, trying to grasp what was really happening. Mother Paul-Marie followed closely the news reports presented on the subject, but it was with much reservation that she would sometimes make a comment, for “the Wisdom of God is foolishness to men”. Solidly holding to a too-human judgment, to our own ideas, will we understand that it is the Lady at work in this titanic Combat of the End, leading the Peoples along a straight line amid many twists and turns? It was really the Lady, the Queen of Prophets, who, 55 years before the beginning of the third millennium, that is, between 1945 and 1959, came to announce the wars and disasters.

“Without wishing to throw stones at anyone whomsoever or favor one side more than the other, but looking, rather, at the facts as they are, Mother Paul-Marie agreed to give a spiritual note to these events and bring out the divine lights which have sprung forth from all these events in which the whole of humanity is involved. She did so on several occasions during her Saturday morning meetings with the retreatants at Spiri-Maria who participate in the Mass in her suite. Here is a succinct account of what was said at those meetings and which Mother Paul-Marie later agreed to complete.

“Among the many television programs dealing with the subject of Iraq because of its topicality, one in particular struck Ronald Ferland from Lac-Etchemin. It was a report on that country’s history with its biblical origins (the homeland of Abraham, the father of believers, and other facts). Paying attention to the Bible, to what has been happening in the Jewish and Arab worlds, attentive to the messages of the Lady of All Peoples, he thought there might be a link between these worldwide events. Sensitive to the symbolism of Numbers, he decided to check out his intuition and calculate how many days there were between the date of September 11, 2001, the day of the terrible terrorist attack which marked a change in the politics of the United States, and the beginning of the war when the first American bombs hit strategic targets in Iraq, at dawn on March 20: there were 555 days!... What a surprise! What, then, does this Number mean? It is the seal placed by the Lady of All Peoples upon this event. Mary is present to sustain us.

“But that is not all. While the war had begun on Iraqi soil on March 20, it was still, in America, because of the time difference, the feast of Saint Joseph, that is March 19. Now Ronald counted that 33 days earlier, that is on February 14, on American soil, a decisive meeting was being held at the UN. During that meeting, Mr. Dominique de Villepin, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, made a remarkable presentation that was noted by all, requesting that the inspectors be allowed to continue their work on Iraqi soil until March 14. However, this ‘historical debate’ of February 14, as it was described by the daily La Presse, further isolated the United States from other countries.

Mr. George W. Bush,
President of the United States

Mr. Tony Blair,
of Great Britain

Mr. Jose Maria Aznar Lopez,
President of Spain

Mr. Dominique de Villepin,
Minister of Foreign Affairs in France

His Exc. Bishop Roger Etchegaray,
the Holy Father's
special envoy
with Mr. Saddam Hussein,
President of Iraq

“Instead of supporting Mr. George W. Bush in the pressure he was exerting upon Saddam Hussein in order to force him to destroy his banned missiles capable of carrying weapons of mass destruction (just as the Holy Father also requested of Saddam the following day through his emissary Cardinal Etchegaray), the emphasis was placed upon prolonging the inspections, thus permitting President Hussein to hide his chemical weapons and the material required for bacteriological warfare, while he still maintained, to the bitter end, an indifferent attitude to the demands which have been formulated for more than twelve years. And it was from this date of February 14, which could have been so promising, that the difficulties at the UN Security Council simply kept increasing. After that day, it was astonishing to see how the confusion kept constantly increasing between the countries, members of the United Nations. And there spread among the peoples an extreme sentiment of anti-Americanism. All sorts of difficulties, obstacles, considerable delays, pressures, always greater disagreements prevented the United States from acting according to its initial plan with a view to a rapid intervention in Iraq. Thus the Iraqi people would have been freed more quickly from a dictatorial power and there would have been a smaller number of victims. The one who seems to have been chosen to fulfill this mission is not Catholic. Yet, he is deeply religious, reading the Bible and constantly referring to it, requesting prayers and not afraid to mention the name of God. Meanwhile, in Europe, there where Christianity has played an unquestionable role throughout its history, a request from the Holy Father that a direct reference to God be made in the new European Charter is being refused. Is it surprising, then, when one rejects God, to see events becoming always increasingly more complicated?

“Now, ‘in this time which is our time’, the Woman of the Apocalypse wishes to be known under the title of the Lady of All Peoples and it is she who is acting through events to accomplish what she herself announced, affixing her seal as the great clean-up progresses. Mother Paul-Marie reminded us that the Lady foretold everything and, as the good Mother from heaven that she is, she comes to help the world in the battle with which we are confronted. Is that not what she has been doing for more than thirty years in her Work of Love which is the Army of Mary? Day after day, she has been forewarning the Foundress, guiding her, anticipating and preparing everything. Only a complete acceptance is required for Mary to be able to work in the one who must obey her. Life of Love is filled with these events in which the action from heaven that was “announced” is in fact realized when the time comes.

“In the great tragic events unfolding at this time in the world, especially in Iraq, we can see her maternal intervention. Everything is being accomplished. But what could we have understood of these prophecies in 1967, at the time of the publication of Raoul Auclair’s book on the messages the Lady of All Peoples had given to the world? It is always best to wait for the fulfillment of events in order to better understand them. Nevertheless, we should note that it is always those who are little and simple who perceive the authenticity of what she had announced, just as the Savior had given us to understand.

“From all times in the history of humanity, one people, one country has always exercised a supremacy over the others through its power and its strength. Sometimes this country has been vested with a special mission to save another country. That is what we see many times in the accounts of the Old Testament, and that is precisely what is happening in our time. Several thousand years separate us from the accounts of those wars, but can it be said that, from the very beginning of humanity, man’s heart, created for love, has greatly evolved in grandeur and beauty?

“For so many years now, one people in particular has been literally stifled, muzzled, decimated. The events happening now, following upon a necessary liberation, are just beginning to give us an idea of the situation, sending a chill of horror through the world, even though all the truth on this martyred people is not yet known. Other peoples in the past have also suffered much. Mother Paul-Marie explained to us that God has His Hour which is not ours. Today, the spiritual force, directed by Pope John Paul II and all those who follow him more and more, allows us to glimpse a more open Marian action in this anguished world.

“In this third millennium, Mary had foreseen everything in advance and prepared it all. One country, the United States, has held the world power financially, materially, economically and militarily. Before the appeals of Iraqi exiles who were begging it to save their people from the tyranny of a blood-thirsty man and who hoped to return to their country, President Bush could not remain indifferent. Although strongly contested, he nevertheless decided to use the forces of the American army to free an oppressed people even at the risk of losing his life and his reputation. Everything was in place for a rapid, clean operation with the least possible bloodshed. His war arsenal with its “intelligent bombs”, very precise missiles, could prevent there being too many civilian casualties. Did Mr. Bush have a foreboding of a special responsibility in this affair, of a mission?

“The hour was so close when the West and particularly the United States were about to be struck by chemical weapons and the suicide bombings that are the work of so very dangerous kamikaze. Everything was ready. Did this President have any choice?... ‘America, be on your guard. Intervene! Well, intervene then!’ (The Lady of All Peoples, 17th apparition, October 1, 1949) If the world only knew what was being prepared while George W. Bush, Tony Blair and Jose Maria Aznar Lopez were exerting an increasingly stronger pressure on Saddam Hussein to destroy his banned missiles capable of carrying weapons of mass destruction, all for the purpose of sparing an anguished world! And if the world only knew what Mary has prepared to save it, even though the peoples have refused God! When heaven wants something, it sets everything in place to achieve its plan. Men are the ones who set up obstacles.

“What are we to think of the incredible wave of anti-Americanism rampant in the whole world? Is there a government that is impeccable? Can one ascribe to President Bush all the mistakes of the history of a country? George W. Bush has engaged in an armed conflict, that is true. Not having any of the characteristics of a tyrant, sensitive to the sufferings of others, he nevertheless knew the consequences of such a conflict which he would have hoped not to unleash. In the past, outcasts from society were stoned, but today the crowd stones with words and the media spreads so many destructive messages.

“Let us forget the accusations made against the President because of the oil wells which interest just as much those who accuse him of coveting them. Let us stop to consider a world that certainly does not want war but yet, it hardly changes: a world in rage, all too often strained by hatred, covering the streets of cities with ‘peace marches’, brandishing banners, signs and placards everywhere against the President of the United States. At the same time, a tyrant is presented to the world, one who owns many palaces while his people is forced to live as in the Third World, even if, out of a patriotic concern, it seems to praise its President to the skies.

“And then pacifist movements were formed throughout the world, organizing marches calling for peace. Among all those people, how many have decided to change their life, to return to the commandments of God, to draw closer to Him who can give true peace? How many have picked up their rosary to ask for graces and blessings, in a real change of heart?

“We are the ones who are truly responsible for the wars and disasters which are the consequences of our personal refusals to a God who created us to be happy with Him on earth as in heaven, provided that we accept to live according to His ten commandments. We forget that peace is a gratuitous gift from God and that we cannot receive it without drawing closer to Him, without intensifying our love, our intimacy with Him. How many really turn to God, how many decide to change their life, to take up their rosary, this peaceful weapon which Mary gave us and which the Pope recommends? Too few. Marie-Paule wrote in her circular letter for Easter: ‘Peace is neither a march nor a cry, but a state of love nourished with charity, nourished with eternity.’ God and the Immaculate are the only ones who can really give us this peace so desired. And while the world cries out its desire for peace, hatred continues its ravages and fosters always more hatred which spreads like a devouring flame.

“Is humanity headed for a third world war? At Fatima, Mary told the shepherd children: ‘In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.’ We must firmly believe in this reason to hope given by the Lady of All Peoples. There are, throughout the world, various organizations acting in favor of the Lady. In Canada, and more specifically in Quebec, we too have been mandated to do our small share.

“Now, ‘in this time which is our time’, it is the Woman of the Apocalypse who, under the title of the Lady of All Peoples, is acting through events to accomplish what she herself announced, affixing her seal as the great clean-up progresses.” (A summary of Mother Paul-Marie’s talks, prepared by Sr. France Bergeron.)

Conditions Set by the Lady for the World and the Church

The war is following its course, longer and more painful than initially hoped. And we suddenly learn that the most sought-after men from Iraq number 55. Peoples of Europe and America, do we know what was awaiting us if George W. Bush and Tony Blair had not launched the war? There would not have been just a few thousand victims, but rather, millions. So, let us be careful!

Other predictions followed. We have been warned: “There will continue to be wars as long as the help of the True Spirit is delayed. So bring men back to the Cross.” (37th apparition, November 15, 1951)

Different developments or courses cause delays in action; sincere but conflicting ways of thinking create difficulties, day after day, between the heads of countries or their representatives and confusion sets in, to such an extent that the great hopes which do not find their source in the infinite flounder. Only the Church is in a position to offer the richness of such hopes. It is divine in God even if it is human in men who, so often, darken its radiance because faith has dwindled, when it is not completely extinguished.

Once again, the Lady warned the world:

“The consequence of the last Marian dogma – and the greatest – will be to place me, in this time, before the Cross, as Co-Redemptrix....

“Love is the first, the principal commandment that Christ has given. And today it is that which I wish to bring. This is the message that must be transmitted. And you, you are the instrument.

“As what concerns the new dogma, the Church will have to overcome much opposition. This will arouse admiration in the others. The Church can only gain in power and strength from it.

“Do you know, Rome, how great your power is? Are you aware of what you hold in your hands? Simply lead men to Good, lead them to Christ. All the rest are trifles of no importance.

“I wish to be the Lady of All Peoples. To all those who ask it of me I will dispense – and I can dispense – Grace, Liberation and Peace. On this day I promise that....

“Let all peoples be One in Jesus Christ.” (The Lady of All Peoples, 35th apparition, August 15, 1951)

“The Lady of All Peoples promises Peace, true Peace. But the peoples with the Church – and mark this well: with the Church –, will have to say my Prayer this year.” (45th apparition, March 20, 1953)

“The Lady who is to give peace has come. She has given her Prayer to the country in which Satan has been ruling.

“The Lady who comes to bring peace, has made known her message to an instrument in a country which always desired peace.” (47th apparition, October 11, 1953)

“When the dogma, the last dogma of the Marian history, will have been promulgated, then the Lady of All Peoples will give peace to the world, true peace.” (50th apparition, May 31, 1954)

When the Church will have responded to the appeals of the Lady of All Peoples, the servants and handmaids will FINALLY be able to go back to silence and PEACE and prepare for the great departure.

Mr. Jean Chrétien,
Prime Minister
of Canada,
that our country
has always
desired peace.

In fact, in this world that is exploding, in this time of the Apocalypse reserved to Mary, Heaven had prepared everything.

His Holiness Pope John Paul II, Mary’s Pope, a Giant of Peace and ecumenism, a man of a great spiritual stature who sees the agitation of men and the times, a man of exceptional balance who can bear witness to God in season and out of season, this man always goes forward, the bearer of the standard of Fairest Love.

The Pope has just appointed an Archbishop for the Diocese of Quebec, His Excellency the Most Reverend Marc Ouellet. His motto “Ut unum sint” – “That they may be one” – shows his concern for the unity of Christians. “His coat of arms of azure blue with a golden cross, adorned with a golden lily which represents Mary, the symbol of the immaculate Church; the silver lily represents John, the symbol of reconciled humanity. The whole bears witness to the unity of the Church for which the Lord prayed.”

“Having travelled the world, having had to deal with different responsibilities – in seminaries, in the missions, at the Roman Curia, for ecumenism, for the family –, he acquired a rich and varied experience in the life of the Church.”

On March 3, 2001, the Pope appointed him Secretary to the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.

“Christian unity”, is that not the program set out by the Woman of the Apocalypse, the Lady of All Peoples, actively involved in this Combat of the End?... “Let all peoples be One in Jesus Christ,”she told Ida Peerdeman in Amsterdam (35th apparition, August 15, 1951).

“The Lady of All Peoples desires that there be unity in the Holy Spirit, the True.”(50th apparition, May 31, 1954)

On the other hand, on October 11, 1953, the Lady indicated to the seeress of Amsterdam that she had come to bring peace:“The Lady who comes to bring peace, has made known her message to an instrument in a country which always desired peace.”(47th apparition, October 11, 1953)

Is not that country Canada?

Now, how many times, since the beginning of the war in Iraq, has not Mr. Jean Chrétien, the Prime Minister of Canada, replied negatively to the pressing calls to join the coalition (the United States and Great Britain) in favor of the war against Iraq. Every time, Mr. Chrétien replied that he would not go to war, for“Canada, our country, has always desired peace”.Pure coincidence in relation to the Lady’s words? No! What she predicted is being fulfilled.

When the hour of justice has come after a long period of mercy, Heaven acts through men, just like surgeons who must remove evil in order to free humanity from its cruel ulcers.

When it is a matter of delivering a country from the tyranny it has endured for so many years, especially since it is a matter of a third war, all the fears suddenly loom up and the cries of terror increase with the flames of a world that becomes impassioned.

Will that country which has suffered so much finally see rising the hour of true freedom in grandeur and beauty? This hour will come for the world if the peoples turn their eyes to God.

As incredible as this may seem, Mr. George W. Bush, Mr. Tony Blair and Mr. Jose Aznar are just as justified in their decision to go to war as Mr. Jean Chrétien is justified in his decision to keep his country out of the war. It is more than likely that these men are unaware that, in spite of their differences of opinion, they are accomplishing a providential action, highly spiritual, within the context of a divine plan. They are free; providential events will justify them in their difficult and painful action, so little understood and so strongly fought against.

And God continues to draw straight lines in spite of the twists and turns caused by the obstacles, on the human level, which set men against each other, whereas the spiritual significance of their actions is quite different – if their heart is sincere –, and these same actions become quite meritorious in the eyes of God.

Are we not aware that serious difficulties existed between Saints Peter and Paul, and yet they both went forward towards the same goal. “God alone can probe hearts and minds.”

On this April 24, I appreciate in a special way the Communion antiphon which would provide such a good conclusion to this article: “You are a people God claims as his own, to praise him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, alleluia.”

Now, I had just received Communion when the request was “made” that I recall the ties that have existed between Heaven and earth since the founding of the Army of Mary, when the Lady of All Peoples intervened with her instrument to whom she made known her word.

Am I to refuse this now when we are so close to an End?...

Is it not in Canada and more particularly in Quebec that the Lady of All Peoples, the Generalissimo of the celestial armies, has set up her headquarters? Here, she founded her Army which she directs through her“instrument to whom she made known her word” (cf. 47th apparition, October 11, 1953).

It suffices to read the volumes of Life of Love to understand the mystery of the Co-Redemption which has placed “the instrument before the cross” throughout her entire life which has become “the Witness”, and the configuration of this life to the Redemption has been the manner of proceeding “with, to be sure, that immeasurable distance that lies between the Creator and the creature, between Him who is the Image and her who is the Resemblance.” (Raoul Auclair’s Preface to Life of Love, vol. I)

* * *

Gathered about Peter, the head of the Church, in a true communion of faith, some peoples are already uniting, peoples that will soon form the great Community of the Lady of All Peoples who ALONE, can give peace with the True Spirit.

In this world that is wavering because it hungers for love and peace, the Lady draws souls into the purified, reconciled Church. The fires of a Pentecost of love that will be without boundaries will enkindle the world.

Let us give thanks to the Triune God, for, through the Immaculate,
He has worked wonders. Holy is His name!
