A New Era: The Period of the Lady,
CO-REDEMPTRIX
After the apparitions of the Lady at Amsterdam, Ida Peerdeman, had many Eucharistic graces as a prolongation of the apparitions.
Here is how God realized, in this time and unbeknown to us, the Eucharistic experience of March 25, 1972. (This text was presented to us by Padre Jean-Pierre on Sunday, May 31, the last day of the triduum of prayer in honor of the Lady of All Peoples.)
We know that the Lady of All Peoples is engaged in the great combat glimpsed by Saint John in the Apocalypse. Now, here is what was shown Ida Peerdeman, the seeress of the Lady, during the Eucharistic experience of March 25, 1972.
At Communion time, she saw the terrestrial globe rotate in front of her, and suddenly, it split into two parts. She heard:
“It will be a life-and-death struggle, but ‘the Spirit’ will triumph in the end.”
He will be victorious thanks to the Lady whom He “vested with His Power” and to the Lady’s faithful servants.
Then, Ida saw a long procession of people from various races and tribes, each one carrying the flag of his country or state. They were following a young man dressed in white who was carrying the painting of the Lady, and he called out to all: “Follow me.”
Rome, September 14, 1980 - Procession of the Army of Mary pilgrims in St. Peter's Square. |
Lourdes, September 19, 1981 - Close to 1,000 pilgrims, clad in white, bearing flags recalling Mary's sweet name. |
Does not this long procession remind us of the large number of ceremonies of the Marian Work – whether it was of the Army of Mary, the Family of the Sons and Daughters of Mary or the Oblate-Patriots – when our members from different countries carried in procession the flag identifying the Work and their country of origin? At times, there were hundreds of them, bearing the flag for their country in chapels, churches or large halls, all the way to Saint Peter’s Square and Saint Peter’s Basilica into which the pilgrims of the Army of Mary followed the painting of the Lady of All Peoples as Ida was shown in the vision.
Then, Ida saw the painting which is in the chapel; all the peoples brought their flag and gathered around the one of the Lady. The seeress went on to say: “Then, I found myself standing outside the chapel and I saw high up in the far distance the domes of the church that is to be built later.”
The chapel and the church referred to here lead us to Spiri-Maria and the Basilica Mary Queen which will be constructed later on higher ground.
The throne of the Lady |
Then Ida saw heaven bursting open. The glorious Lady appeared, wearing “an indescribably brilliant crown.” She heard: “Now you see Her not as She used to appear, but like She is in the Kingdom. Her mission on earth has come to an end now.”
On a few occasions, the Lady showed herself to Ida under an appearance different from her usual appearance, whereupon Ida did not recognize her. That was because, after the period of the apparitions, the Lady was to return, taking on a human form this time, in order to accomplish her mission of Co-Redemptrix. (And that is the mission that “has come to an end now”, whereas her mission continues at other levels.) And Marie-Paule, “the Handmaid” identified by Ida, the seeress, offered her being to Mary, laying claim to only one thing, that of being the Zero, the Nothing that leaves all the room to her Mother Immaculate. We who know the Handmaid – we who have that extraordinary grace – we know the intensity of her pain over having to wear the crown identifying her with the Lady! We know that, for her, this crown is a crown of thorns, in the image of the thorns encircling her Immaculate Heart. And if she wears this crown, that is because “her mission on earth has come to an end now”, as the Voice indicated, and God is exacting that His plan of love in favor of humanity be made public.
Ida heard the Voice continue: “The Holy Spirit will rule. The Lord shows you this vision in order that you may proclaim this message to all peoples.”
The mission of the Co-Redemptrix prepared the reign of the True Spirit. It is the hour of the proclamation of the Co-Redemption, of the opening of the Kingdom, and the Apostles of the Lady are entering into action.
Ida heard the Voice: “The Holy Spirit will rule." It is the hour of the reign of the True Spirit. |
“Then I saw,” Ida continued, “that young man in white bow low before [the Lady’s] throne.”
At a time when the program for this triduum was already prepared, last April 20, Mother Paul-Marie received the indication that this young man in white was Jean-Gabriel Michaud who, during yesterday’s ceremony [May 30], placed next to the Repository, the representation of a church as though of crystal, the symbol of the Church of John.
Ida described in these words what she saw and heard: “It was as if some proclamation were called throughout the heavenly space in an unknown language. I wondered what it meant. I heard in reply: ‘This is a heavenly greeting.’”
“An unknown language” [for her]: would it not be the French language, the language of the people where the Lady has physically manifested herself? “A heavenly greeting”: so many celestial voices are heard by our Foundress on this blessed land where Spiri-Maria and the Residence of the Lady are built.
And the vision ended with these words: “And I saw again the chapel and that row of people with their flags, marching from the chapel to the church to come. And I heard inwardly: ‘That will be for later on.’ ”
So many astonishingly precise details on the Marian Work, given at Amsterdam, at a time when the Army of Mary had just been founded.
On March 25, 1984, during the Eucharistic celebration, Ida was graced with a final Eucharistic experience, very brief. She described this heavenly vision in these words: .
“I heard ‘the Voice’ saying very clearly: ‘The period of “the Lady of All Peoples” as Co-Redemptrix is drawing near.’
“Heavenly music sounded in my ears and I saw a lustrous Crown, sparkling like diamonds. Then everything faded away.”
Now that the Lady has accomplished her mission, that she has received her crown, a new era is beginning: “the period of the Lady of All Peoples as Co-Redemptrix”.
Let us not be afraid. She will not leave us orphans. She will always be with us and will send us the True Spirit, the Paraclete who is Love at the heart of the divine Quinternity. The thousand years of the Kingdom belong to the Lady who, in turn, has redeemed the world. It is by turning to her that humanity will finally experience peace.
