The Mystical Woman

THE CONFIRMATION OF EVENTS

The Mystical Woman, that is the title the Lord indicated to Mother Paul-Marie on September 14, 2009, to identify, from now on, the photograph of the coronation that took place on May 31, 2009, at Spiri-Maria. The Lord specified that this oval-shaped photo would now be installed next to the altar of the Lady of All Peoples. The oval version of this photograph-holy picture, on the side wall of the chapel, radiates and delights the eye; it places us straightaway in the supernatural dimension. The title indicated by the Lord to designate it is delightfully fitting: the Mystical Woman... A title that synthetizes and sums up the evangelical import of the different facets of the Marian mystery.

While, for almost a month, the present article The Mystical Woman was in the works with a first page having already been written, the writing plan and the research completed, I realized on October 18, 2009, that the title, The Mystical Woman, was already present, without my having noticed it, in the text The Time of the Church of John, under the subsection The Mystical Flight of the Church which was prepared in the first days of September for the paper Le Royaume of September-October to come out at the beginning of November 2009. In the quotation of the prophetic passage from Maria Valtorta, Jesus said: “The Church, like ‘The Mystical Woman’ of whom Saint John speaks – after having fled to save itself by taking refuge in a safer place...

THE DESIGN OF HISTORY

The divine project of the Mystical Woman dwells in history. From the first moments of history, from the primordial beginning, in the book of Genesis, the mystery of the Woman appears in all its splendor. “I will put enmities between you and the woman, and your seed and her seed: she shall crush your head, and you shall lie in wait for her heel.(Gn 3:15)

Is it not plausible to declare that the point of departure of the history of Redemption coincides, in a way, with the history of the Co-Redemption? Genesis permits us to reply to that question, for Yahweh clearly admonishes the Evil One in order to safeguard His project of love for humanity: “enmities between you and the woman”. And He prophesied the role of the Woman: “She shall crush your head.

Quite pertinently, the study of Life of Love uncovers realities to us that were undreamt-of until now, realities which correlate with the whole of the New Testament. The Lord, in Life of Love, constructs the necessary prophetic elements for the actual realization of the mission of the Mystical Woman.

“You know, my child, that my beloved Mother... has become incarnate, and her maternal regard has alighted upon you. It is you, my child, who suffer my Passion and who, in the name of my beloved Mother, will give Christ back to the world. See, your life is identified with that of my Mother... Accept, my child, to continue the work of my beloved Mother.... Soon, my child, you will have to devote yourself exclusively to my Mother’s cause.” (Life of Love, vol. I, chap. 53, pp. 333-334, May 3 and 4, 1958)

THE HOUR OF THE MYSTICAL WOMAN

The theme of chapter 53 of the first volume of Life of Love is centered around the expression: “The hour of the crucifixion has arrived..., your hour will have arrived”, words which enclose the first twenty-two lines of text. Now, Saint John’s Gospel is built around the same idea of “hour”. Jesus suggested that a link be established between His Mission and His Passion, between His Mission and “the hour”, “the hour” being the Passion on the horizon of His life. A dozen or so times, the theme of the “hour” is evoked in the Gospel of Saint John:

“The hour” in the Gospel of John, the only Gospel to bear the imprint of this striking sign, indicates “the hour” of the Redemption on the cross. That word is a key word upon which John’s Gospel is built, a word turned toward the glory of the Father being revealed through the Son, Jesus Christ. “The hour” in Life of Love, the only Work of Christianity after the Gospel that bears the imprint of this striking sign, indicates “the hour” of the Co-Redemption on the cross. That word is a key word that builds Life of Love, a word turned towards the glory of the Father being revealed through the Daughter, Marie-Paule.

“The hour” of the Passion and Crucifixion in the Gospel is identified with “the hour of the crucifixion” in Life of Love. The spiritual and mystical correlation is quite obvious to anyone who is attentive to the event. With this crucial theme of “the hour” that turns us towards “Jesus’ crucifixion”, there is the interpretive key for the message of the Work of Life of Love and of the Mystical Woman for our time. In effect, the prophetic words of the last chapter of the first volume of Life of Love hammer out a stunning message for anyone of good will and open to God’s call. Thus, in just a few lines, the word “hour” is mentioned three times: first of all, in the title, “The Hour of the Crucifixion”; then in the first sentence, “So the hour of crucifixion has arrived”; and finally, in the 19th line, “And your hour will have arrived...

When will “the hour” of fulfillment occur, according to Jesus’ words to Marie-Paule: “My Mother’s work; my Mother’s cause, in my Mother’s name”? At “the hour of the crucifixion”, right?, as indicated to us by the Gospel and Life of Love. “The hour” of the Redemption by the Son of man. “The hour” of the Co-Redemption by the Mystical Woman.

The mystery of the Woman shows up particularly in the last seven pages of the first volume of Life of Love, notably with the use of the expression “My Mother” which is repeated twelve times in those few paragraphs that certainly have a theological construction. Twelve times, like the twelve stars of the Apocalypse, the twelve Apostles, etc. (without forgetting the expression, “twelve apotheoses – twelve miracles”, heard several times by Marie-Paule in August and the first week of September 1975). Moreover, the expression “my child” is present eight times. “My Mother, my child,” there you have words which excellently describe the role of the Woman, namely, that of being a mother and  that of giving birth, in a physiological sense but even more so in a spiritual and mystical sense. Motherhood specifically defines the woman who participates in the divine project.

My Mother, my child” emphasize motherhood and childhood, two spiritual paths rich in graces of progression. The divine maternity of the Virgin Mary is a teaching that was developed and enriched through the contribution of a galaxy of holy and mystical souls. And the spiritual childhood is a path of spiritual formation which really took flight with the little way of the spiritual childhood of Thérèse of Lisieux or of the Child Jesus, following in the footsteps of the Gospel.

Life of Love transmits the gospel of the spiritual childhood in multiple extensions, forming souls to live of divine Love.

The Fiat, the yes of the Virgin Mary, opens the door to the Son of God with a view to the Redemption. Marie-Paule’s mission opens the gates of the Co-Redemption. Does not the Lord tell her one day through a nun: “You are the mother of all souls”? (Life of Love, vol. XI, p. 235)

In 1975, a Sister X..., whose name has been kept secret, was called to play a role for the Army of Mary. Let us listen to Marie-Paule recount the episode of those interventions.

Sister X... is one of thousands of religious whom I saw when I was founding the Army of Mary in various religious Communities two years ago.... She was a complete stranger to me, but I remarked her the moment I saw her.... And behold, there began in her a divine action which astonished her. She writes at the dictation of God, and without knowing His designs she is in fact confirming our Work, though she is ignorant of all its details. (Life of Love, vol. XI, p. 233)

On September 6, 1975, during a Mass presided over by Bishop Jean-Pierre van Lierde, in the presence of this Sister, Marie-Paule received a large host at Communion, the realization of a prediction of Jesus at the beginning of Life of Love. Marie-Paule commented this event.

At the same moment, Sister X..., close beside me, repeats words which she has just heard and which are for me: “I MAKE YOU MY PRIEST, MYSTICAL, REAL, ETERNAL. YOUR BROW WILL SHINE ETERNALLY WITH A SPECIAL LIGHT. YOU ARE THE MOTHER OF ALL SOULS.” (Id., p. 235)

The privilege of a spiritual maternity which is not any less real, in which souls are regenerated. A maternity by rights because she is the Mystical Woman. Mystical Woman because by rights she is a mother. Woman and Lady. Mystical Woman in order to be the mother of all souls and the Lady of All Peoples.

WOMAN AND LADY

Woman and Lady. The term Woman or Lady is a determining eschatological expression which specifies Genesis and the Apocalypse.

Genesis predicted: “I will put enmities between you and the woman, and your seed and her seed: she shall crush your head, and you shall lie in wait for her heel.(Gn 3:15)

The Virgin Mary,
Mother of God Co-Creatrix

The Apocalypse states: “A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.(Apoc 12:1)

The messages of the Lady of All Peoples which are the result and the crowning of the great Marian apparitions make us penetrate the secrets of the mystery. In the first apparition, March 25, 1945, the seeress asked this Woman if she was Mary, the Mother of God. “I ask, ‘Are you Mary?’ She smiles and says: ‘I will be called the Woman, Mother.’ (Raoul Auclair, The Lady of All Peoples, 1st apparition)

Marc Bosquart aptly comments the Lady’s answer:

Let us note well this fact of great importance: To the question, “Are you Mary?”, “the form” or the Apparition does not reply “yes”. Admittedly, it does not answer “no”, but it does not say “yes” either.” (Marc Bosquart, Trésors de “Vie d’Amour”, no. 3, Les Éditions du Nouveau Monde, 2008, p. 42, but one should also read pp. 41-47 on this subject.)

Furthermore, Marc took up again the Lady’s reply as the caption under the picture of the Lady of All Peoples, and added to it a very pertinent comment that summed up his study on the subject in the preceding pages.

“They will call me the Lady, Mother,” which means: “Mother, the peoples will call me the Lady, for I am your Daughter, the Lady of All Peoples.” (Id., p. 47)

In fact, it is obvious that the Lady (the Woman) is speaking to her Mother (Mary). And her title of Mystical Woman, she already received it on calvary along with her future role of Co-Redemptrix.

“So the change goes back to the sacrifice of the Cross.” (The Lady of All Peoples, 41st message, April 6, 1952)

The Mystical Woman could not be manifested any more clearly than in the Work of Life of Love, in Genesis, the Apocalypse and the messages of the Lady of All Peoples.

Such a close convergence between different sources is a plea in favor of a providential project that has issued forth from God’s Heart. Valorization of the woman’s role in the divine way and not according to the human way of looking at things. God’s response to the problem of Christians demanding the priesthood for women. God’s response that even goes beyond the expectations, but not in the manner foreseen by the revolutionary current dominating theological thought and the clergy.

The Hour of the Crucifixion”, the main theme of Saint John’s Gospel and of the first volume of Life of Love unequivocally describes a spiritual combat on the level of the planet entrusted to the Mystical Woman and to the “holy women”. This “hour” is marked by the presence of women who are accomplishing the divine plan of Love. In the Gospel, the Virgin Mary and the “holy women” are present in determining situations. In Life of Love, there is the chosen Mystical Woman, and “all those holy women” present in determining situations.

THE COVENANT OF The Mystical Woman

Would there not be two Covenants of God with humanity, beginning with the New Testament, if for the purposes of this reflection, we exclude the prelude of the Old Testament? It is permissible to think so... The Redemption and the Co-Redemption confirm this possibility.

A justification for this hypothesis is also to be found in the Lord’s revelations to Marie-Julie Jahenney, a mystic in France bearing the stigmata, whose bishop refused her Communion for many years. (However, God’s angel brought her Communion every Sunday.) Already in 1880, the Lord revealed to Marie-Julie, an illiterate peasant girl, the idea of two spiritual Covenants which are echoing in our time from the Church of John.

"They will call me the Lady, Mother."

This first union continues to exist in its soul, but it is dissolved into a second one which is a thousand times richer and more abundant. The second covenant, which is made up of joy, hope and glory, began to open up at the foot of Calvary.... Jesus... reserved the splendor of His glory for a time when almost the entire world would no longer agree on the faith.... He reserved that celestial glory for the time when, in the decline of the faith, everything would crumble, would be lost.... This second covenant will put an end to all the torments of the first one, known as the sorrowful one....

This second covenant will occur with such a sweet rapidity that one marvel will not wait upon the next. I see that this second covenant will be the Great Blow and the Great Wonder.

I see the mysterious manner in which the change in things will be wrought, externally and outside of us. The Lord will see to directing everything, guiding everything. Like a doubt or an uncertainty will remain as to whether or not to believe that this is really the light of the Lord. No light will go and knock at the door of hearts whose sheep we are; from that side, there will not be any movement. On the side of those upon whom the Lord has placed the responsibility and the duty of watching over the entire flock, this light will not “strike” a great many.... (Le Ciel en colloque avec Marie-Julie Jahenney, éd. Résiac, 1973, pp. 177-178)

Is not this second Covenant the time of the action of the Mystical Woman? It is important to specify that the explanation of the role of the Mystical Woman in Mother Paul-Marie does not lessen in any way the role of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God; on the contrary. Marc Bosquart underlines this eloquently at the end of his excellent study, The Immaculate, the Divine Spouse of God:

“They will call me the Lady, Mother.”

In this new context, Mary will of course not be “set aside”, nor even supplanted in our Faith. On the contrary, She will henceforth have her true place – a unique incomparable place – as Spouse of the Father, Co-Creatrix and Universal Mother. (The Immaculate, the Divine Spouse of God, Lac-Etchemin, Les Éditions du Nouveau Monde, 2003, p. 125)

The Virgin Mary, Mother of God and universal Mother, has all the place that belongs to her. Mother Paul-Marie, Lady and Mystical Woman, has all the place that belongs to her.

The novelty of the spiritual phenomenon does not diminish, for all that, its reality and its pertinence. What is new refers to “some old ideas”, as the messages of the Lady of All Peoples indicate. The veracity of the saying, “unite and distinguish” of Saint Thomas Aquinas, a great theologian in the Church, is greater than ever.

The Covenant of the Mystical Woman has its place more than ever in the history of the Redemption. The times have arrived. The demands of the faith are punctuated with determining theological elements which shed light along the way of souls and peoples. To reject them would be foolhardy, to deny them would be dishonest. May we accept them with confidence. Openness permits that there be spiritual and theological developments likely to help us be better able to grasp the divine project of love for humanity.
