Some of the delicious items baked at the bakery “La Miche d’Or”

At the residence of the Sons of Mary known as “Marienthal” at Lac-Etchemin, some religious are responsible for the bakery “La Miche d’Or”. They bake a variety of breads and other pastry.

Preparing the bread
before baking

Bread: white bread (made with milk), whole wheat bread, natural organic bread, farmer’s bread, raisin bread, French bread, country-style bread.

The Sons of Mary make every effort to offer their clients fresh products,
made using natural and biological ingredients.

Pastry: sweet buns (without icing, with chocolate or vanilla icing), date squares, sugar pies, chocolate cake, carrot cake, fruit cake, almond cookies, tender fruit bars, etc.

Among their seasonal specialties, we should mention their fruit cake, “Couronne fruitée”.
