At the request of certain bishops, the Daughters of Mary also worked in Bishops Houses, looking after household tasks such as cooking, house cleaning, laundry, ironing, receptions, etc. While the hands are busy with humble chores of the house, the soul, thus elevated, is increasingly enriched, for God reveals Himself more and more to her who loves Him in loving solitude, wrote Marie-Paule in Life of Love (volume II, page 517).
Other Sons and Daughters of Mary worked as secretaries in the service of the Bishop.
