APOSTOLATE OF THE KNIGHTS OF MARY
|
With confidence in the promise of Mary made at Fatima, that In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, these apostles brave the storms which are racking the Church:
- They revive Marian fervor in the Church through devotion to Mary and the rosary, which latter is their weapon.
- They foster the practice of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
- They encourage the members to live the three great Covenants which Saint John points out to us in his Gospel:
a) the covenant in the mystery of the Eucharist;
b) the covenant in the mystery of Mary at the Cross;
c) the covenant with Peter.
- They pass along the teaching of the Magisterium.
- They maintain fervor for religious processions with the Eucharist, the portable throne of the Virgin Mary, the Marian flags and the papal flag.
- They preserve the Gregorian chant in religious offices.
- They multiply religious ceremonies with all the beauty and grandeur of a renewed traditional liturgy.
- They revive the devotion of the first Saturday of the month, as requested by Mary at Fatima.
- They bring the Pilgrim Virgin to families.
- They foster in families devotion to the Sacred Heart.
- They give audio-visual presentations on the life of Jesus, the epiphanies of Mary and the lives of the saints.
- They undertake pilgrimages to traditional places.
- They see to the circulation of good books, as well as the sale of religious articles.
- They denounce evil and encourage their brethren to partake of the joys which are the fruit of a life conformed to Gods laws.
