« VERS LA LUMIÈRE »

On May 31, 1992, the Marialys Institute was founded. This fifth and last Work which, along with the other four Works, completes the great Community of the Lady of All Peoples, has as its goal to bring together priests faithful to the Pope and the renewal of the youth, according to the promise of commitment:

“I promise to defend the Church of Christ and its values,
with force and love, going forward towards the Light of the Lord.”

During the ceremony of foundation, Father Victor Rizzi was received as the Marian Father, succeeding the late Father Philippe Roy, of whom he had been the spiritual son. Thus, he becomes the first member priest of this Institute, of which he is also the spiritual Father.

Then three lay members were also received, committing themselves to defend the Church of Christ and to devote themselves to charitable works, while at the same time working in a specific apostolate aimed at the “renewal of the youth”.

During annual days of prayer organized under the auspices of the Marialys Institute, several priests have committed themselves by a promise of fidelity to the Church and its teaching. Similarly, new lay members, known as Marialysts, have joined the ranks of the Institute.

The Lady of All Peoples is the Patroness of the Marialys Institute and its motto is: “Vers la Lumière” [“Towards the Light”].
