THE ARMY OF MARY’S
THIRD PILGRIMAGE TO EUROPE
France and Italy
February 5 to 20, 1976

On February 5, 1976, a group of forty-three members of the Army of Mary left Canada for Paris, in order to participate in the Apotheosis of Peace, while at the same time visiting different shrines in France and Italy.

They had the joy of visiting Chartres, Montmartre, the Rue du Bac, Lisieux, and then stopping at La Salette, Paray-le-Monial and Ars on their way to Rome, which was the last stop on their European journey.

Lierde’s 25th anniversary of
episcopal ordination.
On February 17, 1976, a reception in honor of His Excellency Bishop Jean-Pierre van Lierde’s twenty-fifth anniversary of episcopal ordination was held at the hotel Villa Pamphili in Rome.

Throughout the entire trip, a radiant sunshine preceded the pilgrims wherever they went.
