PILGRIMAGE IN HONOR
OF THE LADY OF ALL PEOPLES
Portugal, France and Italy

September 11 to 28, 1981

The pilgrimage in honor of the Lady of All Peoples took place in September 1981.

At Fatima, on September 13, the Army of Mary joined the multitude of pilgrims who had come from all over to render homage to Our Lady of the Rosary and to attend the international Mass being held in the large square in front of the Basilica.

The pilgrims then went to Lourdes where they participated in the shrine’s regular ceremonies: an international Mass in Saint Pius X Basilica, candlelight processions, Mass at the Grotto, Holy and Marian Hours of prayer. A spiritual richness being offered to everyone in this precious relay for souls thirsting for the infinite.

Then it was on to Rome where, on September 26, the large painting of the Lady of All Peoples was once again exposed in Saint Peter’s Basilica. On that same day, during Mass, Marc Bosquart, a Belgian who had come to Quebec to work for the Army of Mary, married a girl from Quebec.

After Mass, a procession in Saint Peter’s Square traced the “M” of the Miraculous Medal in a beautiful ribbon of white. Inside the “M” on the left was the throne of the Apocalypse or the Ark of the Covenant, at the center, the painting of the Lady of All Peoples and to the right, the little throne of the Virgin of Fatima, while the newly wed couple stood before the point of the “M”. For the second consecutive year, Mary apposed her seal at the very center of Christianity.
