In 1986, members of the Army of Mary were invited to participate in the renovation of the Seminary in L’Aquila, Italy, where the Sons of Mary lived.

One hundred and fifty-five people generously responded to the invitation, assuming the costs of their trip, in order to work and pray during the pilgrimage in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, from September 9 to 22.

It was in an atmosphere of joy that the group accomplished its manual tasks or participated in visits to a few shrines in the area or in religious celebrations.

Among the many tasks of renovation, a large part consisted in the repainting of the Seminary’s exterior.
