PILGRIMAGE IN HONOR OF
OUR LADY OF VICTORIES
Austria and Italy August 6 to 18, 1988
In August 1988, the Army of Mary undertook its fifteenth pilgrimage. At Father Philippe Roys suggestion, our Marian Father who had passed away a few months earlier, this pilgrimage was placed under the protection of Our Lady of Victories.
After a sojourn in Austria during which time they were able to visit of few beautiful shines in the area, the pilgrims, somewhat nostalgically, left this wonderful country to continue on to Rome where the closing ceremony for the Marian Year was to be held.

On the solemn feast of the Assumption of Mary, they had the joy of participating, in the forenoon, in the Mass celebrated by the Holy Father in Saint Peters Basilica. It was a special ceremony during which the Latin, Byzantine and Copt rites intermingled, thus bearing witness to the Holy Father Pope John Paul IIs great concern of strengthening the unity within the Church.
