PILGRIMAGE IN HONOR OF
|
From May 22 to June 2, 1992, the pilgrimage in honor of Mary Co-Redemptrix was held in Italy. Over a thousand pilgrims, including all options, took part in this itinerary which brought them to Milan, Turin, Florence, LAquila, Teramo, Rieti and Rome, according to the established program, in order to visit the main shrines.
On May 27, the pilgrims participated in His Holiness Pope John Paul IIs general audience in Saint Peters Square. At the end of his allocution and in deference to the Works Bishops Protector who are Italian-born, he addressed himself in Italian to the group of the Army of Mary:
