Pilgrims from France, Belgium, the Netherlands,
|
On May 29, one hundred and twenty pilgrims from France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Chile and Jamaica arrived in Quebec. The following day, they were immediately welcomed by more than 2,000 Canadian and American members, at a day of prayer held at the Le Parc conference center in Laval. All were pleased to share in these moments of prayer and warm fraternal exchange, for, over the years, friendships had developed through the various Canadian pilgrimages to Europe. |

At the shrine of Our Lady of Etchemin, the pilgrims met Father Adrien Ouellet, the shrines founder and rector, who captivated their attention with an account of different events which occurred at this pilgrimage site. |
On June 6, before their upcoming departure, they had the joy of participating in a second day of prayer organized, this time, under the auspices of the Oblate-Patriots and which, once again, brought more than 2,000 people together with one heart and in a renewed fervor, at the Expodrome in Montmagny.
