PILGRIMAGE IN HONOR
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE LADY OF ALL PEOPLES
May 29 to June 5, 1998

Pilgrims from France, Belgium and Chile

In this year 1998, the Church celebrated the solemnity of Pentecost on Sunday, May 31, a day of predilection for the Lady of All Peoples, according to the messages given the seeress at Amsterdam.

Now, given this wonderful coincidence, a day of prayer with a special program was organized under the auspices of the Community of the Lady of All Peoples. Informed of this, several Knights of Mary from France and elsewhere expressed a desire to come to Quebec, in order to share in an intense time of prayer and fraternal exchanges within such a beautiful Work. And thus was organized a fourth pilgrimage to Canada.

Consequently, the sojourn of the sixty-nine pilgrims was highlighted by the solemn ceremony of May 31 which took place at the Expodrome in Montmagny where they had the joy of joining with the nearly 3,000 Knights of Mary present, in order together to live a celestial time.

The day’s program unfolded in complete beauty, with a special homage being rendered to the Holy Spirit and the Lady of All Peoples.

During the forenoon, Beatrice de la Tourrasse from Paris was appointed President of the Community of the Lady for Europe, Madeleine Falaha for Chile and Marie-Thérèse Buyse for Belgium.

The 37 concelebrating priests
May 31, 1998 – The Mass concelebrated by 37 priests

In the afternoon, all the members of the Community of the Sons and Daughters of Mary renewed their annual vows within the Community.

This was followed by Mass, concelebrated by the thirty-seven priests present, thus crowning a magnificent day.

During the week, excursions to the “kingdom of the Saguenay”, the Beauce region and Quebec City gave the visitors an opportunity to discover other parts of the province.

June 5 marked the day of departure. Pleased with their stay, everyone returned to his country, with the hope in his heart that another visit might be possible in the near future...
