APPENDIX - III : The Crucifixion
(November 1986 - April 1988)
Amid so many difficulties, Marie-Paule is constrained more and more to continue the account of this story of love, covering the period between November 1986 and April 1988. She writes:
“It is a story that adds pages of sufferings, through which there filters human malice begetting the heaviness, but from which pages there emanates, above and before all else, the divine wisdom that illuminates and comforts.
“Why write so much? Even though I have not the striking style of a writer, having little aptitude for this kind of work which I do through obedience, still I must continue to relate this spiritual venture, which must be made known, as was the case in the past with the realization of God’s loving designs, foretold but not understood: ‘LATER IT WILL BE UNDERSTOOD,’ the Lord had said. “God always gives us the grace and strength to accept all that He holds out to us; it suffices to open our heart to receive Him, and everything becomes a joy, even in the midst of tribulations.”
