«Father Philippe Roy, Marian Father» (1916-1988)
(by Mother Paul-Marie, 128 pages, 148 photos Éditions de la Famille des Fils et Filles de Marie)Father Philippe is no longer with us, but the memory he leaves behind strengthens our fervor to ascend towards the summits, a wish he so often formulated in favor of all those who followed him.
We are happy to perpetuate Father Philippe Roys memory by offering to his family whom he cherished and to the members of the Army of Mary who loved and admired him, this souvenir album illustrating the different stages of his life, both within his family and in the apostolate. If memories cannot bring back those who have left us, called to return to God, they rekindle in our hearts the memory of events which always radiate with the breath of the soul through which we perceive Gods presence.
At the same time, we present a few testimonials, as blossoms of a memory that will never fade, so much did our soul and his vibrate together in a great surge of love for God and Mary Immaculate.
The Voice of Silence, volumes I, II and III
(Éditions Les Cercles Vérité-Fidélité C.V.-F.)The books The Voice of Silence bring together a collection of letters addressed to His Excellency Bishop Gilles Cazabon. The decision of religious authorities to block the ordination set for June 29, 1997, prompted a great number of lay people to speak out on the subject. The conferring of Holy Orders on someone is an event of a great spiritual richness. Its cancellation, on the other hand, arouses a response in the Christian who is sensitive to the priests daily action.
In the volumes of The Voice of Silence printed by the Éditions Les Cercles Vérité-Fidélité (C.V.-F.), those signing the letters were unanimous in speaking of the same realities observed through their respective experience in relation to the Community of the Sons and Daughters of Mary and the Army of Mary. A reading of these letters shows the quality of the teaching received and bears witness to the realizations observed by each writer. In these volumes, the writers express their thoughts on the priesthood and on the Army of Mary. They all had but one desire: to set forth the truth. May it now be heard!
An Echo to the Voice of Silence
(Éditions Les Fils de Marie, 208 pages)Testimonials of gratitude on the part of the Community members of the Sons and Daughters of Mary, in response to the support received from many Knights of Mary, whose letters of defence were published in the different volumes of The Voice of Silence.
Will You Let My Work Be Massacred?...
(Éditions L’Armée de Marie, 136 pages)When it came time to prepare the cover of this book, our artist, Sister Aline, was well inspired to illustrate its contents, both in the choice of the picture and in the graphic presentation, for it says it all.
In fact, on September 17, 2007, following the excommunication of the members of the Army of Mary who were thus rejected from the Church of Peter, defamatory remarks were made on the air of Radio Galilee by Msgr. Jean Pelletier, Chancellor of the Diocese of Quebec. Once again, the black veil of calumny was covering the Work and its foundress with darkness, represented on the picture by the Eucharistic and Marian Center Spiri-Maria.
However, beyond this loathsome veil cast upon the Army of Mary by the architects of falsehoods, Heaven was watching and manifesting itself through the words written in the firmament of light. It was also shedding light on the Marian temple from within, and enveloping in its peace the souls that have placed their complete trust in Him who is directing everything through Mary. Yes, Spiri-Maria, illuminated from the inside represents so well the spiritual vitality of the Work which is always focussed on the light of God.
Thus, beyond the human barriers raised once again to stifle the truth, giving some the illusion of victory, this book, today, is the authentic representation of the truth which has so often been ridiculed, in order to respond to the divine appeal: “Will you let my Work be massacred?...”
When Hell Is Unleashed...
(Éditions L’Armée de Marie,168 pages)The Army of Mary and its affiliated Works are divine Works in which the members are called to give of themselves in a real charity, in devotedness and authentic love in accordance with the very principles of the Gospel applied in Life of Love. If a member works his way into and attempts to appropriate to himself one or other of the Works for personal ends, then difficulties arise.
Thus it was that, in 1985, through Raoul Auclair, a young lawyer, Richard Dionne, came forward. He was no longer practising law, but he wished to offer his services to Mary gratuitously. He moved into an apartment at the International Center of the Army of Mary on 2040, 26th Street, Quebec City. For the next five years, he rendered valuable services to the Work. He was always welcomed and considered with respect, in spite of some days when it was difficult to live with him. In fact, during the years when he offered his collaboration, no one knew what those days were like each month when his sudden aggressiveness would oblige Mother Paul-Marie and the other members living in the same building to treat him with the greatest indulgence. At other times, he was calm. Then, in 1989, these fits, always more serious, forced him to leave the premises. From then on, Mother Paul-Marie openly became the target of Mr. Dionne’s attacks.
In Le Royaume, no. 109, of January-February 1996, in which Mother Paul-Marie gave a synthesis of the Work’s history, she wrote, with regard to this episode: “At about the same time each month, he wrote scurrilous letters against the Work and its directors and addressed them to religious authorities, even at the Vatican, as well as to our influential members. For more than a year we said nothing about this unspeakable conduct. We could see that those letters constituted a ‘dossier from hell’. So we took the decision to bring out the truth, and to publish a book to that end: Un avocat contre l’Avocate [An Advocate against the Advocate], which was destined for our members. The last letter we received from this ex-collaborator in difficulty was written in red and black and was signed ‘LUCIFER’. Thus did he affix hell’s seal to the tornado he had unleashed against us.”
Subsequently, for more than a decade, everything was calm once again, without any echo from Mr. Dionne who, nevertheless, did not appear to have forgotten the Work. From March 2003 to July 2008, Richard reminded us of his presence by four little letters, to which the addressees – Mother Paul-Marie, Father Denis Laprise and Marc Bosquart – did not reply.
The following month, August 6, 2008, Father Denis received another letter. Now, on that day, Mother Paul-Marie “heard”, after a hard day’s work: “AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU ARE PREPARING THE ‘WHITE BOOK’ IV, YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO PREPARE A BOOK ENTITLED ‘QUAND L’ENFER SE DÉCHAÎNE...’ ” That very evening, she passed on this information to her collaborators. She “understood” that Richard had not yet said “his last word”. In fact, the very next day, and throughout the months of August and September 2008, events would confirm what Heaven had “announced”. Richard would send hundreds of letters to many members of the Army of Mary, even in Europe, as well as to other people we are unaware of.
Is he a sick man or under an evil influence? Whatever the case may be, the one who signed “LUCIFER” really seems to be working according to a diabolical logic.
Here, then, is this book in which Hell shows signs of a desperate battle... Three days before the “volley” of letters from Richard Dionne, Mother Paul-Marie received a letter that was no less arrogant from a lady who was a total stranger...
May the Light cause the darkness to recede!
