Beginning in 1984, the Army of Mary benefitted gratuitously – for that was the agreement – of the services of Richard Dionne, a lawyer, who had come to live at the International Center of the Works where he was welcomed with joy.
What happened during those five years in which Richard lived with us?
A number of facts, some of them quite upsetting at times, marked these days, some of which were full of sunshine and other heavy with the weight of astonishing and disappointing actions. But silence on these events was always rigorously respected.
The members of the Army of Mary and even my close collaborators would never have been informed of certain difficulties if Richard Dionne would have been noble-hearted enough to leave the premises without organizing a defamatory campaign against the Army of Mary and its directors, without ever specifying the slightest fact which could serve as evidence in support of his comments. Just how far did his false accusations go?...
