Georges’ Testimonial
In September 1975, the Holy Year, the Army of Mary set out on its second pilgrimage to Europe. On June 1, in Rome, during a fraternal gathering with the pilgrims, a unscheduled program unfolded. Marie-Paule’s husband, Georges, had given a testimonial earlier in the day. He was invited to give this testimonial again, and in all humility, before his sons André and Pierre, as well as Bishop van Lierde and the Knights from France, Belgium and Canada brought together for the occasion, he made amends (cf. Life of Love XI, chapter 57).
Subsequent to this and in ceremonies which took place in various locations in the province, Georges would repeat his testimonial which was published in a small booklet entitled My Road to Damascus.
